14-Year-Old Boy Accused Of Arson In Tarpon Springs House Fire
Three people were transported to the hospital and one dog was rescued from the fire.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A teen boy was arrested for arson after the Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue, Tarpon Springs Police Department, Palm Harbor Fire Rescue and East Lake Fire Rescue responded to a house fire Friday.
around 8 a.m. in the 400 block Morgan Street East in Tarpon Springs.
Around 8 a.m., a Tarpon Springs Police officer on duty in the area was called to the home in the 400 block of Morgan Street East in Tarpon Springs and saw smoke coming from an open front door. He helped the residents get out of the house.

Three of the residents were transported to Tampa General Hospital with with injuries that are not life-threatening. A dog was also rescued.
The fire was quickly brought under control after units arrived.

The Tarpon Springs fire marshal, Tarpon Springs Police Department and the state fire marshal's Office concluded that the fire was deliberately set and arrested a 14-year-old boy, charging him with first-degree arson.
