With heavy rain expected from Tropical Storm Elsa, Pinellas County will make sandbags available for unincorporated Pinellas residents Tuesday morning at Walsingham Park in Seminole and John Chesnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor.

Distribution will be from 7 a.m. to noon, if supplies last. The County distributed 4,200 sandbags from those locations on Monday.

Sandbags are recommended for residents who are vulnerable to flooding from rainfall. They are not recommended to protect against storm surge from bay or tidal waters.

 

·        Walsingham Park, 2615 102nd Ave., Seminole

·        John Chesnut Park: 2200 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor.

 

Please note that Pinellas County Parks will close at noon Tuesday.
