AdventHealth North Pinellas Recognized For Excellent ER Care

From AdventHealth North Pinellas: AdventHealth North Pinellas earned the #1 Top Performer award for its emergency room by US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), a national provider for emergency department management. The award recognizes outstanding performance for patient care in the Emergency Department for critical indicators such as length of stay, left before treatment occurrences, and arrival-to provider time.

The hospital’s emergency department was ranked #1 in performance out of more than 200 sites nationwide, and Dr. Jose Barquin, Emergency Medicine physician, accepted the award on behalf of AdventHealth North Pinellas at the USACS Assembly in September. AdventHealth North Pinellas operates two nationally recognized ER’s, one at its main campus in Tarpon Springs and an offsite ER in Palm Harbor. The hospital has started work on its onsite ER renovation project, which will expand the ER to 14,595 sq. ft with 18 private treatment rooms.
