Artistic Studio 30 to Host Holiday Toy Drive

On Sunday, Artistic Studio 30 will open their doors to the public at 1 p.m. to accept donations of toys which will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.

Bring an unwrapped, new toy to Artistic Studio 30 and be entered in a raffle to take home a piece of art from the studio. The toy should be appropriate for children aged 0-12. 

Items up for grabs in the raffle include: 

• Painting by Kat
• Photography by Jason Dowd
• Wearable jewelry art by Vanessa Orpheus

Originating in 1947, Toys for Tots was started by a U.S. Marine by the name of Colonel William L. Hendricks. The program seeks to provide a new toy to underprivileged youth on Christmas, in hopes of a brighter future. Drives for the program take place all over the United States.
