Body Found During Fire At Tarpon Springs Home

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs Police are investigating the death of a person discovered during a fire at a home at 727 E. Locust St. Thursday.

At 12:24 p.m., Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue was called to a fire at the home on East Locust Street and, upon entering, discovered a body.

The identity of the person has not been released. The Florida State Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
