Fallen Officers Honored Virtually

National Police Week is under way with a national "virtual" roll call of the fallen officers in every state, including Florida and Tarpon Springs.

As National Police Week observances continue, Tarpon Springs residents who want to find out more about those who died in the line of duty need only visit a national database to learn about fallen officers from all over the United States.

The database also features 762 officers from Florida.

The Officer Down Memorial Page is a virtual remembrance of officers who have died in the line of duty. The website includes a comprehensive, state-by-state list of fallen officers.
