Kitten Thrown From Truck That Runs Over It; Police Investigating

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police are seeking the public's help to find the driver of a pickup truck who threw a kitten out the truck window and then intentionally ran it over.

Police were called to the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Levis Avenue Monday after witnesses reported that the driver of a pickup truck threw a small yellow kitten out of the driver's side window and then ran the kitten over.

The kitten died.

Now the police want to find the driver and charge him with animal cruelty.

The pickup truck is described as a work-type older-model with a ladder and black and yellow totes hanging from it.
