Lawn Watering Restrictions Lifted in Tarpon Springs
Residents can now water their lawns every other day if need be.

Tarpon Springs residents give yourself a pat on the back. As a result of your good water conservation measures, the county is restoring reclaimed water to full operation for the north Pinellas area, according to an announcement issued by the county.
That means residents in Tarpon Springs can return to watering their lawn according to the county's recommended full service schedule. For weeks the county had functioned under a restricted watering schedule and periodic shutdowns.
County officials point to resident's good use of conservation combined with reclaimed water system shutdowns and bountiful seasonal rains created the perfect storm of sorts for full reclaimed water restoration.Â
For more information about reclaimed water use call the Pinellas County’s Department of Environment & Infrastructure Customer Service at 727-464-4000.
