Local Resident Featured For His Support Of New York Nonprofits

Tarpon Springs resident James C. Metzger, founder, chairman and CEO of Whitmore Agency, an insurance brokerage and financial services firm headquartered in Garden City (Long Island), New York, is featured in the current issue of New York’s Social Life magazine.

The September issue spotlights Metzger’s dedication to helping nonprofits along Long Island, in New York City (Jamaica in Queens and Harlem in Manhattan), in Newark, New Jersey, and elsewhere. • Assisting underprivileged children, families and communities at the Jamaica YMCA;

• The Citizens Committee for Children of New York that makes New York City a better place for youth;

• A commitment to a high school football community through the National Football Foundation -- Suffolk County Chapter on Long Island.
