Mom 'Irate' By School's Decision to Diaper 6-Year-Old
The Florida kindergartener's mom says the child was denied a bathroom break, forcing an accident in front of her class.

A Tarpon Springs mom is up in arms after she says her daughter was barred access to the bathroom, forced to pee her pants and then diapered by school officials.
The incident at Sunset Hills Elementary occurred on Wednesday, causing 6-year-old Chloee Kingett embarrassment and her mother, Goldie, outrage, WPTV.com reported.
Goldie Kingett says her daughter asked for permission to use the bathroom, but was told no, Fox News reported. The 6-year-old tried to hold it, but just couldn’t pull it off.

The rather visible accident reportedly occurred in front of 20 other students, CBS reported.
“They were like, ‘Ew! What is that,” the station quoted Chloee as saying.

While the accident was disconcerting enough, Fox reported the child was changed into boys’ pants and placed in a diaper to get her through the rest of the school day. Goldie Kingett wasn’t made aware of the situation until the school day ended.
“To belittle my child and put her in a diaper, that is crazy,” WPTV quoted Goldie as saying. “She hasn’t worn a diaper since she was 2.”
Pinellas County School officials haven’t denied the incident, but are calling it a case of miscommunication, CBS reported. The music teacher thought students had a restroom break before her class, the station noted. The district, however, did say that Goldie Kingett should have been notified of the situation.
Goldie Kingett says the whole mess could have been avoided had her daughter been allowed to use the restroom.
“I’m very, very irate,” she was quoted by WPTV as saying.
