Oldsmar Man Accused Of Molesting Girl Under Age 12

OLDSMAR, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has arrested an Oldsmar man accused of molesting a girl under the age of 12.

According to the sheriff's office, Scott Konash, 38, of the 640 block of Bay Lake Trail, has been charged with one count of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child.

Investigators say the victim reported the molestation during an interview with an investigator from the Child Protection Investigation Division. Detectives conducted various interviews and, throughout the lengthy investigation, became aware that the crime occurred on more than one occasion.

On Monday, Konash was interviewed by detectives and placed under arrest.
