Open house showcases Tarpon Middle's Leadership Conservatory for the Arts
Tarpon Springs Middle School offers something special for each student, from advanced academic programs to fun, award-winning clubs.

Does your child like to perform, play an instrument or sing? Tarpon Springs Middle School’s new Leadership Conservatory for the Arts offers students with a penchant for the performing arts an innovative and engaging way to learn. Our new magnet program incorporates the arts with the internationally recognized curriculum from the University of Cambridge with the Pre-Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE). The magnet program integrates leadership training with academics, technology and the arts to prepare our students for a successful future.
All students at Tarpon Springs Middle can take advantage of the opportunities for enrichment the Leadership Conservatory for the Arts has to offer. Students need not be a part of the magnet program to reap its rewards. We encourage all students to explore, develop and apply their leadership skills in our high-level performing arts program. Our school offers something special for each student, from advanced academic programs to fun, award-winning clubs.
We know from research that students who participate in arts education score higher on standardized tests and are more likely to graduate than students not involved in the arts. Our school began bolstering our arts programs several years ago with that research in mind. In fact, our school was modeled after the internationally recognized and award-winning program at Tarpon Spring High School. It is a natural educational pathway for students, preparing them for their educational journey to high school and beyond.
