Pinellas County Helps to Prevent Heatstroke

On Wednesday, July 31 Pinellas County is joining with national groups to spark discussions on heatstroke prevention.

Pinellas county will be spreading the word about heatstroke prevention online on Wednesday, July 31, according the the Pinellas county website.
Pinellas county is one of many groups that will participate with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's call to share safety messages through Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #heatstroke.
Every ten days, a child dies from heatstroke from being left in a car and it is the leading non-crash vehicle fatality for children under 14.
