Pinellas County Offices To Close For Holidays
The following Pinellas County government offices will close during the holidays.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -- The following Pinellas County government offices will close during the holidays.
Pinellas County government offices will close on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, and on Monday, Dec. 31, and Tuesday, Jan. 1.
All Human Services and Veterans Services offices will be closed on those days.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session on Monday, Dec. 24, Tuesday, Dec. 25 or on Monday, Dec. 31, and Tuesday, Jan. 1, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open Monday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 31, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; it will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe Christmas and Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe the New Year’s holiday.

The Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe Christmas, and Monday, Dec. 31, and Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe the New Year’s holiday. All Solid Waste facilities will be open normal operating hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and Wednesday, Jan. 2.
County parks and preserves will only be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25, except for Ft. DeSoto Park, which will remain open throughout the holidays. All hold-back sites at Fort De Soto campground will be released at 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, for seven nights (Friday through Thursday) during the Christmas holiday. On Friday, Dec. 29, at 7 a.m., seven-night hold-back sites (Friday through Thursday) will be released for the New Year’s holiday.

County boat ramps and beach access areas will be open, though annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will not be available for sale, as the administrative offices of Parks and Conservation Resources will be closed. Contact the campground office at (727) 582-2267, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, with any questions.
The Environmental Education Centers at Brooker Creek Preserve and Weedon Island Preserve will operate normal hours, Thursday- Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Heritage Village will also operate regular hours, Wednesday- Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Florida Botanical Gardens will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25, but will open for the Holiday Lights in the Gardens that evening from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Gardens will resume normal hours and remain open all other days.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed for the observation of the Christmas holidays on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, and will be reopening for normal hours for all service on Wednesday, Dec. 26. Animal Services will close again for the New Year’s holiday on Monday, Dec. 31, and Tuesday, Jan. 1, and reopen for normal hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
All Pinellas County facilities will resume normal hours of operation following the Christmas holiday observance on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and following the New Year’s holiday observance on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office administrative offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
St. Petersburg
Childs Park and West Community Library will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. All other libraries will close at 4 p.m. More information here.
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. North Shore Aquatic Complex will close at 2 p.m. Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
Recreation centers, Walter Fuller Pool, Treasure Island Beach, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and North Shore Aquatic Complex will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Tuesday trash and recycling collections will be made on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. Brush sites will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Tarpon Springs
City of Tarpon Springs offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, in observance of Christmas and on Tuesday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day. Sanitation collection will be as normal (Monday and Thursday) both Christmas and New Year's week.
Clearwater
City of Clearwater offices, libraries and recreation facilities will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday, and Tuesday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day.
There will be no residential black barrel, bulk trash, recycling or commercial collections on either holiday.
Residential collection: Tuesday collections for residential black barrel, bulk and recycling will be made on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Commercial collection: Tuesday commercial garbage and yard/bulk collections will be made on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Commercial recycling collection: For commercial recycling collections, Tuesday routes will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.

All Clearwater library branches will be open until 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 and closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
All Clearwater recreation centers will close by 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 31. The recreation centers will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25 as well as Tuesday, Jan. 1.
The Clearwater Airpark will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
The Beach and Harbor Marina offices including the Fuel Dock will be closed Dec. 25. The Beach Marina Fuel Dock will be open on Jan. 1, but marina offices will be closed.

All city facilities and services will resume normal hours of operation following the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 26, and following the New Year's holiday on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
Dunedin
All Dunedin city buildings will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24, Tuesday Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 1.
Solid waste and recycling pick up for Dec. 25 will occur on Dec. 26 and pickup for Jan. 1 will occur on Jan. 2.
Largo
All City of Largo facilities will be closed on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. Highland, Southwest and the Largo Community Center will close at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. View the Collection Schedule to find your pickup day.
