Tarpon Springs Officials Link to Sister City Over Holiday
City officials recently joined a Skype session with leaders from its sister city in Kalymnos, Greece.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, mayors from Tarpon Springs and Kalymnos connected during a 45-minute Skype video chat last week to give holiday wishes and to discuss the Sister Cities Program.
The Times reported that multiple invitations were exchanged to visit each other's cities.
Tarpon Springs Vice Mayor, Chris Alahouzos talked business in Greek with Kalymnos city officials and the group talked about culture, education and economic development being the key focuses of the Sister Cities Program.

Mayor or Kalymnos, Dimitrios Diakomihalis thought that sending lists of ideas back and forth that would boost all three would be a good starting point, the Times reports.
At the end of the video chat, the groups sent well wishes and holiday blessings according to the Times.
