There will be a Virtual Public Meeting held on June 29th, 2020 from 10am – 12pm regarding the City of Tarpon Springs’ grant applications for Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding. The City is seeking public comment regarding the following grants:

Rebuild Florida Critical Facility Hardening Program – City of Tarpon Springs Community Center Hardening, Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering Building Structure Hardening, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Building and Control Systems Hardening, Reverse Osmosis Facility and Water Distribution Backup Generators, and AdventHealth North Pinellas Exterior Skin Replacement and Emergency Cooling Generator projects

The City is planning to submit grant applications currently estimated at $28,370,000 in grant funding with an estimated total project cost of $39,070,000 as well as an estimated total of $10,700,000 in proposed matching funding from the One Cent Local Option Sales Tax Fund, Water and Sewer Fund, General Fund, and third-party matching funding from AdventHealth.
