Youth Tennis Championship Set For Aug. 10

Do you know young people who are interested in tennis and want to compete? A local junior tennis clinic

A one day championship tournament for children age 16 and younger will be held from 9a.m. to noon on Aug. 10 at Innisbrook Golf Resort. The event is being hosted by the United States Tennis Association and ROGY Tennis Florida.

During the championship, kids will use right-sized racquets, lower-bouncing balls and play on smaller court sizes. There will be round-robin matches with no pressure of winning or losing, or results applied to rankings.

The entry deadline for the event is Aug. 9, and the entry fee is $23. To enter go online USTA.
