Up To 2 Inches of Snow Forecast for North Georgia
So far, no metro Atlanta school closings have been announced.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA -- A mixture of snow and rain is forecast for much of north Georgia on Monday, with rain turning into all snow on Monday night.
No accumulation is expected for most of metro Atlanta, according to the National Weather Service, and no local school closings have been announced. There is the potential for black ice overnight Monday and Tuesday.

- Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 50. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
- Monday Night: Scattered rain showers before 10pm, then scattered rain and snow showers between 10pm and midnight, then scattered snow showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
- Tuesday: Isolated snow showers before 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
