2016 AJC Peachtree Road Race Lottery Now Open

ATLANTA, GA -- The lottery for the AJC Peachtree Road race is now open.

Entrants can register for the lottery as an individual or a group. Up to 10 people are allowed in a group.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22.

Start times vary by wave, which you can view here.

The course starts at Lenox Square and travels down Peachtree to 10th Street in Midtown, and finishes on 10th Street just outside of Piedmont Park.

All finishers will receive a 2016 AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt. Voting for the 2016 AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt Design Contest is open through March 22. You may vote once per day. Click here to vote.

Regardless of the day or time of registration, all individuals who enter the lottery during the eight day period will have an equal chance of being selected for the 2016 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Entrants will be randomly selected after the lottery closes.

“The AJC Peachtree Road Race is a Fourth of July tradition for thousands of runners and walkers from metro Atlanta that also attracts people from across the U.S. and around the world,” said Rich Kenah, Atlanta Track Club’s executive director. “The opening of the lottery registration is a busy and exciting time at Atlanta Track Club, and we are already working hard to ensure this year’s event is the best AJC Peachtree Road Race to date.”

Registration fees are as follows:

• Registration Fee - $38 + applicable processing fees
• Pick Up Race Number at Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo - Free
  Or, Receive Race Number by Mail - $14 per entry
• Triple Peach Package - $100
  Entry to the Atlanta 10 Miler and Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon
• In-Training for Peachtree - $65
• In-Training for Peachtree (Mizuno Upgrade Package) - $140
  Package includes training and voucher for Mizuno shoes valued at $120 or less
• Commemorative Shirt - $32.50
  All commemorative shirts will be mailed by April 15.
• Commemorative Medal - $15
  If you pick up your race number at the Expo, you will pick up your medal at the same time. If you choose to receive your race number by mail, your medal will be shipped in June.
• MarathonFoto Certificate - $35
  Spend $35 now to receive $50 toward your post-race MarathonFoto order.
