Fire Station 28 Stats for September 2012

Firefighters from Fire Station 28 shared fire statistics for the month of September with residents in Neighborhood Planning Unit-D on Tuesday night.

The station has responded to 150 so far this month, nine of which were fire calls.

The majority of the fires the station responded to have been in nearby territories covered primarily by other fire stations, but station 28 is called and required to respond.

Of the 150 calls, 73 were EMS related. Twenty-one calls were service calls, which include checking on the elderly or wellness checks in the community.
