BUCKHEAD, GA — Atlanta police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a suspect in connection to the March 8th Lenox Square parking lot shooting. The suspect, 19-year-old Ricky James Lafargue, was identified by investigators and on Thursday warrants for felony murder were issued for his arrest.

According to investigators, Lafargue is the only person wanted in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Thuan Nguyen. The victim was from Antioch, Tennessee and got involved in a dispute over a parking space outside the Cheesecake Factory.

Both groups went into the mall, but started arguing later when they came back to the parking lot. According to police, that's when someone pulled out a gun and shot Nguyen in the head. The victim was found on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head by off duty officers working in the mall.
