BUCKHEAD, GA — Friends of a Buckhead high school football player have launched a GoFundMe to raise money for the Pace Academy athlete who is currently hospitalized.

Jordan Sloan, 15, sustained a serious head injury at a Sept. 25 game and is currently hospitalized in intensive care, according to GoFundMe organizers Susan Chana and Betsy San Miguel. They set a goal of $500,000.

“On behalf of Jordan’s family, we are asking for your financial assistance to support his current and future needs for recovery. Please continue to keep Jordan, his mother Jasmine and siblings Makenzy and Jace in your prayers.”
