Buckhead Restaurant Watershed Closing
Watershed moved to Buckhead in 2012. The restaurant will close on Dec. 28, says the owner.
BUCKHEAD, GA – Watershed will close its doors Dec. 28, reported What Now Atlanta. According to the news site, owner and executive chef Matt Marcus said he plans to sell the Buckhead restaurant, but wouldn’t go into detail about future plans.
“Broadly, I believe that we have been cooking some of the best food of our lives and we’re not going to stop doing that.”
The business first opened in 1999 in Decatur under the direction of Scott Peacock and Edna Lewis. Watershed later moved to Buckhead in 2012. Marcus took over in April of 2018. His experimental menu included dishes such as BBQ Octopus, jellyfish and Ossabaw.
