Celebrate Beaujolais Day in Buckhead Today
Bistro Niko serves up the young wine straight from the barrell.

Looking for a unique dining experience today? Bistro Niko might provide what you want. Drink wine served straight from the barrell.
The Beaujolais, a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France, can legally be released at12:01 a.m. on the third Thursday of November. The young wine (only about six weeks old) is a light-bodied, fruity wine and is virtually tannin-free making it for an extremely easy to drink. Beaujolais is best served slightly chilled and can be paired with almost any dish on Bistro Niko’s menu such as roasted veal forestiere or grilled lamb chops.
Bistro Niko will be the first restaurant in the city to pour this year’s vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau at 5:30 p.m. today.
