Delta Baggage Handler Accused of Smuggling Guns on Atlanta Flight
An FBI investigation is underway after a Delta Air Lines employee reportedly helped smuggle guns onto a flight from Atlanta to JFK.

A baggage handler for Delta Air Lines in Atlanta reportedly helped smuggle 18 guns and ammunition in an accomplice’s carry-on bag on a Dec. 10 flight from Atlanta to New York, according to an FBI affidavit.
Eugene Harvey, a current Delta baggage handler at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, reportedly used his security clearance to help former Delta employee Mark Henry bring firearms in his carry-on luggage.
Henry allegedly brought the firearms and ammunition on at least five flights from Atlanta to New York between May 1 and Dec. 10, smuggling a total of 129 stolen and illegally purchased handguns and two assault rifles to co-conspirators in New York. One co-conspirator allegedly sold the firearms to an undercover New York police officer, CNN reports.
