This is the last weekend for the Georgia Apple Festival Arts & Crafts Show in Ellijay a must visit fall event Oct. 21 & 22. Just a short drive north of Atlanta in Ellijay, the Georgia Apple Festival has grown from humble beginnings to one of the largest and most well-attended festivals in Georgia, and worthy of your bucket list.
Expect to find handmade, handcrafted arts and crafts, live entertainment, a beauty pageant, car show, parade, and delicious treats from fried Oreos to gyros. Of course they also have amazing Ellijay apples along with apple pies, caramel apple slices, apple bread, apple cider donuts, apple cider and so much more! Mmmm, I can just taste the warm fried pies!
