Georgia Weather Forecast: Storms, Then Sunshine
See which days will bring more storms and which are expected to be dry — as well as what this week's high temperatures will be.

ATLANTA, GA — It looks like it's going to be a stormy start to the week in metro Atlanta. But if we can all hang in there, forecasters say we'll have some sunshiny days before the week is out.
According to the National Weather Service, numerous thunderstorms are expected across north and central Georgia on Monday, mainly during the afternoon and evening. A few of those storms could be strong, with gusty winds, lots of lightning and heavy rain, the NWS says.
A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday, bringing another round of storms. But, by Wednesday, things are expected to dry up and we're looking at no rain in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday and only a 20 percent chance on Friday.
