ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) has launched its 2019 regional commuter survey to 150,000 commuters in 20 metro counties. The ARC said the survey will be used to understand how and when commuters travel, and how familiar they are with different commute options in their area that make their commute easier.

According to the ARC, a recent INRIX study ranked Atlanta as the nation's 11th most congested city in its 2018 traffic scorecard. This translates to a congestion cost of $1,505 per driver and 108 hours lost to sitting in traffic.

Recipients for the online survey were selected randomly. Participants will be eligible to win one of 50, $250 gift cards.
