Join Buckhead WALKS, Get Fit, Win Prizes

Participants can win prizes from REI, Lenox Square restaurants, a local yoga studio and other businesses for getting up and active in May.

ATLANTA, GA — If you've been meaning to get up and active more often, the folks at Livable Buckhead want to give you a good excuse to start putting one foot in front of the other.

BuckheadWALKS! is a month-long competition in May encouraging residents and commuters in the neighborhood to walk it out. Doing so could mean prizes — as well as bragging rights — for participants.

Registration is now open on the Livable Buckhead website. The competition encourages participants to take as many steps as they can in the month of May. Bonus points are awarded for commuting on foot and attending a special BuckheadWALKS! event.
