Local Groups Plan Cemetery Cleanup Day

Join Members of Buckhead Heritage, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and New Hope AME Church March 27 for a Cemetery Cleanup Day

Join members of Buckhead Heritage, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and New Hope AME Church for a cemetery cleanup day at New Hope. Located at 3012 Arden Road, New Hope is the oldest African American Church in Buckhead. The event will be held March 27, 2021, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Volunteers will remove leaves, pick up sticks, cut down unwanted bushes, plant flowers in existing planters and lend moral support to the church.

Participants are asked to bring rakes, leaf blowers, loppers, hand shears and gloves. "Love Your Neighbor" masks, bottled water and snacks will be provided by the organizers. Please wear appropriate shoes.
