Jessica Sant was recognized with the Government Relations Award for her service to students and the college counseling profession.

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) awarded Lovett’s Director of College Counseling Jessica Sant with the Government Relations Award for her service to students and the college counseling profession at the association’s 72nd National Conference in Columbus, Ohio. The Government Relations Award is presented to a NACAC member who has made outstanding efforts in support of policy initiatives that promote equal access to higher education, encourage student achievement, promote counselor excellence, and further the government relations priorities of NACAC members.
Jessica Sant, co-chair of the Government Relations Committee with the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), has worked tirelessly to expand advocacy efforts on behalf of the profession. Under her leadership, all nine states within SACAC held Advocacy Day events—a first for the affiliate.
