Peachtree Road Lane Closures Coming In Buckhead, Midtown
Georgia Power and the state DOT will soon be relocating power poles along one of Atlanta's major roads, meaning months of construction.
ATLANTA -- The Georgia DOT is planning to relocate a number of power poles along Peachtree Road in Buckhead and Midtown over the coming weeks. Construction was originally set to begin Monday, Feb. 18, according to WSB-TV, but after the station's reporters contacted both Georgia Power and the DOT about the short notice given to commuters, the station is now reporting that more notice will be given.
The project is set to last through November.
