Summer Art Camps for your young Van Gogh or Tom Hanks

Budding artist or thespian in your midst? Find inspiration at these Atlanta Art Camps

If your kid loves playing in paint, drawing with gusto, or sculpting with intensity then send them to an art camp this summer to spark their creative channels. And don't forget, art isn't limited to paint, ink and clay - it also includes the performing arts! Here are a few of our favorites, but you can find dozens more in this HUGE Summer Camp Directory.

Arts & Crafts

High Museum Art Camp allows kids to explore the galleries (even sketch there!) and create artwork. Camp is designed for kids ages 6-14.

Trinity School offers special interest camps for kids pre-k thru 6th grade that includes a focus on the arts. Camp runs 9 AM–1 PM and includes a daily lunch. After-care until 2 PM is available for an additional cost.

Performing Arts

Camp Broadway helps kids 10-17 develop their confidence and performing arts skills - though no previous stage experience is required! The program culminates in the Family Finale, a musical showcase presented at the Rialto Center for the Arts.

Act3 Arts Academy is conducting auditions for exciting summer workshops for students in kindergarten through college that culminate in performances. This is great for serious students, as Act3 alumni have gone on to perform on Broadway, in national tours, and locally at The Alliance Theater, The Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Six Flags, and more!

Also consider Shakespeare Superheroes and Superheroes Junior! These three locations have programs for kids 4-15
