Telemedicine Apps For You to Use

During these times where we might need medical attention, here are a few apps/online services that can help you see a doctor

Hi Community - I know that some of you might be experiencing some seasonal allergies or may need to see the doctor sooner rather than later. If you are able to have your visit occur online or on the phone, here are a few services that might be helpful for you.

Telemedicine services (online and through the phone) has existed for a few decades and will be an important tool for you to use to maintain good health. These are great applications of technology that you can use with the touch and swipe of a few buttons. Located below is a list of a number of telemedicine apps, the first of which I have used in the past. You can (and should) check your insurance provider and policy to see if they have this "telemedicine" service that is part of your health care plan to save you money and time.

With some of these applications you are able to stay home and have your prescriptions mailed to you - it’s probably a good idea in light of the situation.

MD Live - we have this app on our phones and iPads and it has worked out well for us over the last few years. When we were sick we took pictures of our mouth and had a “live” appointment to get a more accurate diagnosis. https://www.mdlive.com

Lemon Aid - this is a great service too! They use a subscription model and will send the medication to you - by mail https://www.lemonaidhealth.com

TalkSpace - this is an app used for counseling https://www.talkspace.com

Simple Contacts - they will put you in touch with a licensed ophthalmologist https://www.simplecontacts.com
