ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta Police have arrested an employee of the Buckhead restaurant Velvet Taco in connection with a robbery there, and are searching for three other men suspected in the Nov. 23 armed hold-up. Four masked suspects entered the rear door of the business at 77 West Paces Ferry Road, assaulted the manager, and took $3,255 in cash before fleeing on foot.
Qwayshawn Green, 23, was arrested Wednesday on felony armed robbery charges, police said. Investigators believe he helped orchestrate the crime; he was considered a person of interest early in the investigation and was wanted for questioning, a police news release said.
Green was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
