Vinings Rotary Supports LaAmistad with 2020 5K Race Donations

ATLANTA, March 16, 2021 -LaAmistad received the support of the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club this month when they were named as one of the organizations to receive donation proceeds from the Vinings Downhill 5K for the Kids event. The 24th installment of the annual race took place virtually in 2020. It was held online on August 8th and 9th.

Each year, The Vinings Rotary Charity Fund accepts grant applications for funds generated by the 5K from organizations benefiting children in the Atlanta metro area. LaAmistad is grateful to have been chosen as one of this year's recipients. Funds will be used to further the organization's mission to prepare Latino students and families for success through academic and life enrichment programs.
