Week Ahead: Sweat with Free Yoga at W Hotel in Buckhead; Cherokee Garden Library Lecture

Second Annual E. Rivers Fall Festival: Saturday, October 5 from 10 AM-2 PM - Come one, come all to the 2nd Annual E. Rivers Elementary School Fall Festival!  Enjoy carnival rides and games, live entertainment, a bake sale and food vendors.  Photographers will be on-site to take family portraits. Don't miss it.

Sweat Yoga at W Hotel: 
This complimentary and weekly poolside yoga series will feature power yoga led by Todd LaBerge of Atlanta Hot Yoga.  Event attendees will get their "OHM" on as they pose to the beat of mixes curated by lululemon.  Healthy and low-cal sips to follow in the hotel Living Room.  Yoga is complimentary and mats are provided.  Valet parking for up to 3 hours is offered to yoga series guests for $8. 

Cherokee Garden Library Lecture: The Atlanta History Center’s Cherokee Garden Library presents an evening with Mario Nievera discussing his book Forever Green: A Landscape Architect’s Innovative Gardens Offer Environments to Love and Delight (published by Pointed Leaf Press). Mario Nievera, ASLA, is principal and partner of Nievera Williams Design, a premiere U.S. landscape architectural firm based in Palm Beach, Florida.

Writer's Forum
: The Writers' Forum offers adult writers an opportunity to share their original creative writings followed by discussion and feedback. No registration required for the free forum, which is held on Monday, Sept. 30 at Northlake - Barbara Loar Library 3772 LaVista Road.

Food Trucks @ Shallowford: Shallowford Church has a program every Wednesday evening during the school year, which starts with dinner at 6, (except Food Truck nights start at 5:30), followed by adult and children's programs from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Dinner is $8/adult, $5/child, $25 family max.

Hands-On Bike Maintenance: REI instructors will share tips and tricks to
