Atlanta History Center's Fall Folklife Festival: Traditional crafts, southern foodways, and environmental sustainability are at the center of the Atlanta History Center’s Fall Folklife Festival. This annual family program celebrates all things Southern with an assortment of scheduled and ongoing events occurring throughout the museum and onto the History Center's Smith Family Farm. This program is free to members; included in the cost of general admission for nonmembers. Brick-toberfest: It’s a full day and night of over 75 beers, food, wine, spirits, bands and DJ’s outside on 10th St at Mary Brickell Village. We’ll have sampling tents lined up and down 10th St, a couple of stages, bands and DJ’s. Time of event is 2pm – 11pm. After Party at Fado Irish Pub from 11pm – 4am
Polycycstic Ovarian Cancer Awareness Symposium: September is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome awareness month. Join specialists at The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road NW for a free PCOS symposium about the latest options from diagnosis to treatment, including: nutrition, medication and exercise. 4th Annual Brew & Barbecue: This event at Sweetwater Brewery, 195 Ottley Drive, includes Souvenir Pint Glass, Beer Sampling, Barbecue Dinner, Live Music, Silent Auction and Brewery Tours benefiting the national CdLS Foundation.
