Where Can You Celebrate New Year's Eve in Buckhead, Atlanta

The year 2013 is just about over, and quite a few people will be out celebrating out with the old and in with the New Year. What follows is a partial list of the New Year's Eve celebrations in Buckhead and other Atlanta communities.

Many of these events and restaurants sell out of tickets well in advance of the parties, so call ahead to make reservations before you waste a trip. 

Peach Drop 2014 at Underground Atlanta

Tuesday, Dec. 31 11 a.m.-3 a.m.

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the largest New Year’s Eve gathering in the Southeast, and ring in 2014 with Underground Atlanta’s Peach Drop. If you are going, it's best to take MARTA to the Five Points station. Other stations within walking distance are Peachtree Center, Georgia State, Garnett and Omni. Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: New Year's Eve

Tuesday, Dec. 31, 8 p.m.

Woodruff Arts Center: Atlanta Symphony Hall. Ring in the New Year in musical style, with the music and lyrics of George and Ira Gershwin. The ASO and guest conductor Jack Everly, along with vocalist Judy McLane and pianist Michael Chertock, present Gershwin favorites including “I Got Rhythm” and “They Can’t Take That Away from Me”.
