Woman Says Lyft Driver Attacked Her In Buckhead: Report
Buckhead woman says that she was attacked by Lyft driver after he displayed an "attitude."

ATLANTA, GA -- An Atlanta woman said that her Lyft driver attacked her during a pickup in Buckhead recently, Patch has learned. Kerri Bush, 19, said that her boyfriend called the ride-sharing service for her on June 9, but what happened during her ride was anything but service.
Bush said that the driver had an attitude as soon as he picked her up. She said that he told her that she could not drink in her car, but the message seemed contradictory to her because she saw a drink in his front seat. She proceeded to drink. Things escalated from here. (To get notified of more local news like this, click here to sign up for the Buckhead Patch. Or find your Atlanta-area town here. Bush said that looking at her Uber driver revealed something that she'd never seen before. "The look in her eyes? I've never seen that," Bush told the TV station. "I've never had anyone, like, attack me like that."
A Lyft spokesperson told WSB-TV's Nefertiti Jaquez: “Safety of the Lyft community is our top priority. This type of violence is completely unacceptable and we take any incident like this very seriously. The driver in this incident has been permanently deactivated from the Lyft platform. We stand ready to assist law enforcement in any investigation.”
