Woman Shot To Death Outside Buckhead Condo | Husband Surrenders

ATLANTA — A woman was shot to death outside a Buckhead condo complex early Wednesday morning. Police said the shooting happened around 1 am at the Roswell Court Condominiums.

Later in the day, the AJC reported the husband of the victim surrendered to authorities in Tennessee. The victim, identified by her family as LaBarbara Milsap, was shot in the abdomen after what witnesses told police was an argument followed by gunfire.

Police believe the victim's death resulted from a domestic incident. Police told the AJC the victim's husband has been identified as Walter Milsap, 38. Milsap surrendered himself police in Rutherford County, Tennessee.

Police were called to the scene by a 911 caller who reported gunfire and a woman's scream. Witnesses told police they heard about five shots. Police found the woman's body when they arrived.
