Barracudas on the Hunt!

Winning a third straight Cherokee County Summer Swim Division Championship (2012-2013-2014) wasn’t enough for the Bradshaw Barracudas. Next up, Barracuda swimmers will compete in the Georgia Recreation & Park Association’s 5th District Swim Championships on July 12th at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center.

These Barracudas achieved qualifying times this summer to compete in the District Meet:

Barracuda swimmers will team up with other qualifying swimmers from Cherokee County to compete in the 5th District Meet as the “Cherokee Cyclones.”

They'll compete against other swimmers that are part of the GRPA's 5th District, which includes Acworth, Bartow County, Bremen, Calhoun, Cartersville, Catoosa County, Cedartown, Euharlee, Cobb County, Coosawattee, Dalton, Douglas County, Douglasville, Fannin County, Gilmer County, Gordon County, Haralson County, Hiram, Kennesaw, LaFayette, Marietta, Murray County, Paulding County, Pickens County, Rockmart, Rome/Floyd County, Smyrna, Summerville, Tallapoosa, Trion, Whitfield County and Woodstock.

The top three finishers in the 5th District Meet events will go on to the GRPA’s State Swim Championships on July 25th & 26th at the Cumming Aquatic Center.
