Cherokee County Fire And Emergency Services: Progress Continues On New Addition At Fire Training Center

Progress continues on the new addition to the Cherokee County Fire Training Center located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway. The concrete was poured this week for the foundation of the 3,190 square foot single story expansion, which will house new offices and classrooms.  Workers were also constructing the new concrete stairs that will connect the upper section to the lower area of the training complex.  New curbing has also been installed for the new parking area that will connect the north and south entrances of the training center. Scott Deal, Battalion Chief at the Training Center said that the project appears to be on schedule with construction to be completed by early January 2022.
