"Cherokee Charter Academy 5th graders held a wax museum in the school cafeteria. Kindergarten through 8th grade students and parents visited the museum. The 5th graders did a lot of preparation for the museum by doing research, a PowerPoint presentation, putting together a costume, a display board and memorizing their speech.
When visiting the museum, students pressed the “star button” on each person to listen to their story. Examples of historical figures represented were: Princess Diana, Amelia Earhart, Dr. Seuss, Milton Hershey, John Wilkes Booth, George Vanderbilt, Helen Keller, Elvis Presley, Babe Ruth and many more."
