Cherokee School District Postpones Inaugural Senior Bowl
Etowah High School's victory over Newton High School on Friday propelled the district to delay the bowl.

A win by one of its six high school in the Georgia high school football playoffs has prompted the Cherokee County School District to postpone its inaugural Northside Hospital-Cherokee CCSD Senior Bowl.
Etowah High School’s football victory over Newton High School on Nov. 28 prompted the district to reschedule the festivities “so that its seniors may participate as well,” school district officials said on Saturday.
A new date will be announced as soon as it’s determined.
