City of Holly Springs Hosts Memorial Day 5K

From the City of Holly Springs: The City of Holly Springs will hold its annual Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run on May 27, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. The race will start at Holly Springs Elementary School and conclude at Barrett Park. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at Holly Springs Elementary School STEM Academy.

The City will donate the net proceeds to the Holly Springs Elementary School STEM Academy. In 2016, the City proudly presented the school with a check for over $3,000 and is looking forward to exceeding that amount this year.

Registration is $25 through May 26th, and $30 on the day of the race. Those interested can pre-register on Active.com. Further details, including the race route and mail-in registration forms, can be found at www.hollyspringsga.us/memorialday5K.

A part of the Black Bag race series, awards will be given for overall male and female, masters male and female, and three deep in 15 age groups ranging from 10 and under to 75 and over. At the conclusion of the race, a 1K Fun Run will be held for children ages 12 and under.
