Holly Springs Wins Financial Reporting Award
The GFOA awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of Holly Springs.
HOLLY SPRINGS-HICKORY FLAT GA - From The City of Holly Springs: The City of Holly Springs has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its 2016 comprehensive annual financial report. City Manager/Finance Director Robert H. Logan was presented with the award.
From GFOA, “The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. The CAFR has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program including demonstrating a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users or user groups to read the CAFR.”
The City also received this award for their 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 comprehensive annual financial reports.
