Primrose Owner To Serve On Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors

Holly Springs, GA: The Cherokee County Chamber’s Nominating Committee and Board of Directors have unanimously approved chamber member, Sharon Shelton, owner of the Primrose School of Harmony on the Lakes, as one of the seven members to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors (2016 - 2018). This incredible honor amplifies Mrs. Shelton’s dedication to the community through her partnership with parents in supporting the education of young children.

“Education is the key to success in every aspect in one’s life,” says Sharon Shelton. After experiencing the Primrose difference as a parent and seeing the impact that it had on her children, she wanted to share this experience with her community.

Mrs. Shelton is a graduate of the Leadership Cherokee Class of 2013 and an appointed Planning and Zoning Commissioner for Holly Springs. In addition, the private pre-k students at the Primrose School of Harmony on the Lakes have a standing invitation to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Breakfast each September; a testament to the dedication that the school has to connecting its students to their community
