JOHNS CREEK, GA - From Give Me Five Dinner: On Sunday, August 27, the 11th annual Give Me Five dinner featuring Georgiaβs premier chefs and sommeliers to benefit Share Our Strengthβs No Kid Hungry Campaign will be held at the Atlanta Athletic Club. The exclusive event includes a five-course dinner prepared by top local chefs paired with fine wines selected by a handful of the cityβs most notable sommeliers. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the work of Share Our Strengthβs No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America.
This yearβs highly anticipated annual dinner will feature Chef Chair Master Chef Daryl Shular (Atlanta Athletic Club) along with Morey Anderson (Atlanta Athletic Club), Christian Castillo (Atlas Restaurant), Charlie Hatney (Charlie Hatney & Co.), Aaron Masanotti (The Merion) and Todd Richards (Richardsβ Southern Fried). Guests will also enjoy wine pairings by five Atlanta sommeliers, including Sommelier Chair Gil Kulers (Piedmont Driving Club), Jacob Gragg (Cru Artisan Wines), Andres Loaiza (Aria), Chris Lodge (Atlas Restaurant) and Maggie Meroney (Capital City Club). Each course will be accompanied by commentary from our chefs and sommeliers.
Attendees also will enjoy live and silent auctions featuring a variety of luxury items and experiences, including private cooking classes, lavish cocktail parties, fine wines and intimate in-home chef dinners.

Nearly one in six children in this country struggles with hunger, including more than 580,000 kids in Georgia. Using proven, practical solutions, No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger today by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget. Already, No Kid Hungry and its partners have connected kids struggling with hunger with more than 500 million meals.
In 2016, Give Me Five raised more than $110,000 for the No Kid Hungry campaign and its local beneficiaries. With the funds raised, the No Kid Hungry campaign can feed kids facing hunger more than 1 million healthy school breakfasts.
