Movies At Newtown Park Series Returns Friday In Johns Creek
On Friday, "The Croods β A New Age," will be on the screen in Johns Creek as part of the Movies at Newtown Park series.
JOHNS CREEK, GA β The City of Johns Creek summer programming is in full swing. July offers Johns Creek residents and visitors a variety of activities including the continuation of the Summer Movies at Newtown Park series.
On Friday βThe Croods β A New Age,β will be on the screen at Newtown Park. The summary says, "Still searching for a place to settle down after the cataclysmic events of The Croods (2013), the overprotective prehistoric patriarch, Grug, leads his family to the great unknown. Hoping for the best in an increasingly dangerous world, while trying to come to terms with Eep and Guy's budding romance, Grug stumbles upon a secluded Eden of plenty, containing everything that they have been seeking, or is it?"
Movies at Newtown Park are free and include face painting, a bounce house, giveaways, music and more. Food will be provided by the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Food Truck and Kona Ice.

The event begins at 7 p.m. for those looking to save a spot, and the movie starts at sunset. This event is rain or shine. In the case of rain, attendees are welcome to bring umbrellas. Pop-up tents are not allowed. If there is lightning or severe weather, there may be a delay at the start of the movie or an evacuation, if necessary.
Dogs are not allowed at the event, except service animals.
